During 2020 the orphanage in Chanika Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania has faced unprecedented challenges. Many of the donors were not able to continue their support for the operation (food, personal, etc.) of the orphanage. Therefore, we have stepped in and funded some of the operations during 2020 and 2021.
You can be part of the group who supports the operations for the Chanika, Dar Es Salaam Tanzania Orphanage. We have setup a Donation Calendar to fund “one day at a time” of the Orphanage.
The cost to keep the orphanage running for one day is approximately 150 GBP / 175 EUR / 200 CHF. This covers not only the 3 meals for the approx. 120 kids and 10 helpers but also the salaries of the helpers. medicine, transportation, water, electricity etc.
How can I be a part of this great initiative?

- You will receive an email with the information about the donation
- Donate the amount 150 GBP, 175 EUR or 200 CHF to the respective ToHelp country
- Once we have received your donation you will receive the charitable donation letter for your tax (for DE and CH)

Die Kosten für den Betrieb für einen Tag betragen ca. 150 GBP / 175 EUR / 200 CHF. Dies umfasst nicht nur die 3 Mahlzeiten für die ca. 120 Kinder und 10 Helfer aber auch die Gehälter der Helfer, Medizin, Transport, Wasser, Strom etc.
